Home Preservation

Years of deferred maintenance can cause a downward spiral of home deterioration and unsafe living conditions. Habitat's Home Preservation program helps preserve homeownership by addressing needed repairs.

Many Home Preservation clients are elderly, people with disabilities, veterans or single parents. Our program gives low-income homeowners access to volunteer labor and low-cost materials, that make home repairs affordable.

Projects may include, but are not limited to:

  • Exterior painting
  • Roof repairs or soffit/fascia work
  • Stairs, handrails, wheelchair ramps
  • Deck repairs
  • Doors
  • Window repairs

Applications for Home Preservation are made available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please download the application below and submit it for our committee to review.
